Alex Fort

Alex Fort is a multidisciplinary artist trained at the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Gobelins school. With a background in advertising art direction, he has developed a hybrid practice blending graphic design, motion design, filmmaking, photography, and music. His visual universe, deeply marked by chiaroscuro , draws its influences from film noir , cinema from the 1950s to the 1990s, as well as from an academic artistic tradition. An artist-in-residence at Rayon Noir, Alex Fort explores the tensions between visual storytelling and raw emotion, at the boundary between reality and imagination.
